Palm Oil

We care about animals and recognize that the palm oil industry has had a direct impact on wild orangutan habitat. The companies that supply goods to SAFE's Cruelty Free Shop that contain palm oil have given us assurance to our satisfaction that they are sourcing palm oil in the smallest quantities possible and are doing so from sustainable plantations. Where possible, we will provide palm-free alternatives for our products.


Payments

Online payments are processed securely by credit card and PayPal, but we also accept payment by cheque, direct credit or credit card given over the telephone. Please contact us directly if you would like to use an alternate method of payment.


Shipping

Shipping is done by courier, with a flat rate throughout New Zealand regardless of size or weight of order. You will incur an automatic, additional charge if you live at a rural delivery address (+$4.50) or if you've ordered a chilled product (+$2.50). If you would like to have something shipped by post, please mention this in the Comments section, and we will ship by NZ Post.

Most orders are shipped within 24 hours, except weekends (when couriers don't ship) or Mondays (when we are closed). To ensure that perishable items do not spend the weekend in a warehouse, we only ship chilled goods Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will contact you and you will have the choice to delay the shipment until the item is back in stock, or remove it from your order


Exchanges

We are happy to exchange items purchased for an alternate size or colour as long as they have not been worn, used, or opened. Please contact us directly if you would like to do an exchange. Due to the limited nature of sale products, we cannot provide exchanges for items sold as Specials.


Refunds

If you have received damaged or faulty goods, we will happily provide you with a full refund. However we are not obliged to refund items if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.



Your Privacy

Your credit card details will only be used to process your payment, and are not stored or saved. We will only use your email and telephone number to contact you in case there is a problem with your order.
